Position Summary
Our client, an entrepreneurial but institutional-quality real estate investment and development firm, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Capital Raising & Deal Structuring . The ideal candidate will have raised $100M+ in equity capital across institutional, family office, and/or joint venture partnerships and bring an established network of investors. This individual will play a critical role in broadening our clients capital relationships, structuring institutional-quality deals, and supporting the firm’s growth pipeline across multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital raising efforts targeting institutional investors, family offices, and strategic JV partners.
- Leverage existing investor relationships to deliver meaningful capital commitments (~$100M+ track record required).
- Structure joint ventures, equity partnerships, and capital stacks across diverse real estate projects.
- Partner closely with acquisitions and development teams to align capital structures with project needs.
- Represent our client in investor meetings, industry events, and capital introductions.
- Serve as a senior leader within the firm, influencing strategic growth and capital strategy.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in capital raising, investment banking, private equity, or real estate capital markets.
- Proven ability to raise $100M+ in equity capital (cumulative) across institutional and private sources.
- Established network of institutional LPs, family offices, and JV partners .
- Strong knowledge of real estate finance and capital structuring (JV, pref equity, waterfalls).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in a lean, growth-oriented environment .
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; trusted reputation in the market.
Compensation
- Base salary: $200K–$300K+ (flexible for A+ talent)
- Bonus: Performance-based
- Equity/Carried Interest: Potential for top performers
