Senior Bilingual Copywriter

The successful candidate will work with various partners to adapt and produce a variety of web & print-based projects. They'll be involved with everything from small product page changes, up to creating and adapting full customer experiences. This includes proofreading and QA of modular and variable information before final publishing. The candidate will be joining an existing Marketing team, with the opportunity to influence our processes, architecture, and approach. The right candidate will have high standards and a passion for marketing, creating a positive Spanish-language customer experience, creative writing and problem solving.What you'll bring to the role:Fluency (speaking and writing) in both English and SpanishImpeccable English and Spanish grammar, punctuation, and spellingAbility to adapt copy from English to Spanish in a relevant, customer-centric wayA keen understanding of the US Hispanic market, and the ability to communicate with language that is inclusive across all Hispanic subgroupsStrong attention to detail, highly organized and deadline-drivenAn eagle eye for proofreading and editing print, web content, graphics, and videosA team mentality; ease in collaborating with all types of peopleEqual comfort writing a clever headline as writing long format copyA clear understanding of tone, voice, and the ability to adapt your writing style based on the message and intended audienceAn understanding of the importance of creative strategy and the ability to clearly present it to others for buy-inA positive outlook and attitudeKnowledge of Google's collaborative tools such as Docs, Slides and Sheets is a plusYour responsibilities:Review, edit and approve changes to raw translated content in a way that ensures our Brand Personality and Voice (clear, conversational, engaging) shines throughConsult on how to resolve required regulatory/syntax changes from Legal and LinguistsMake final decision on how to implement stylistic suggestions from Legal and LinguistsLeverage available tools as possible to ensure consistencyConsider Brand's impact across the customer experience if it is meaningfully different than EnglishGuide team in the inclusion of Hispanic insights and best practicesAd-hoc collaboration with English copywriters as neededCreate and maintain a Spanish brand style guideAttend relevant project meetingsBasic qualifications:Bachelor's degreeAt least 4 years of work experience in Spanish language communications or creative writingPreferred Qualifications:4 years of experience in a Hispanic agency or in-house Hispanic team1 year of experience in financial or some other highly-regulated industryDexian is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
