To create and publish a neutral, well-sourced company article, the remote contract Sr. Instructional Designer will manage the entire Wikipedia editing process, including assessing notability, compiling credible sources, and navigating the submission and review procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assess company notability against Wikipedia's General Notability Guideline
Identify and compile a minimum of 5-10 reliable, independent, third-party sources
Draft a neutral point of view (NPOV) article using proper Wikipedia markup (wikitext)
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience writing and publishing Wikipedia articles with a portfolio
Strong understanding of Wikipedia's core content policies (Notability, NPOV, Verifiability, No Original Research)
Proficiency in wikitext markup and citation formatting
Experience with company/organization or business article space on Wikipedia is preferred
