We are a behavioral healthcare company that specializes in outpatient mental health and substance misuse treatment for adults in socioeconomically diverse populations in Dallas, Ellis, and Kaufman Counties. We are a state‑funded, non‑profit organization that provides outpatient clinical services for those negatively associated with the criminal justice system. Using empirically validated and evidence‑based treatment, we strive to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. Our mission is to positively affect change by offering clinical and educational services that assist in reducing adult offender recidivism.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping those who struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Court Program Coordinator to act as a liaison for our clientele involved in specialty court programs in Dallas County. The Program Coordinator serves as the liaison between IPS and local county probation and/or other external partners. They also contribute to the overall marketing and brand management of the organization by providing exceptional customer service orientation and collaboration through participation in client staffing meetings, provision of treatment update information to externals, and active assistance in the coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain rapport with external partners through provision of exceptional customer service.

Actively collaborate in weekly staffing meetings and court proceedings with specialty courts and other external partners.

Document meeting minutes and ensure patient files are updated with relevant content.

Assist with patient scheduling to enroll new patients and/or pre‑existing patients into treatment services.

Participate in IPS clinical case review meetings to ensure internal collaboration with clinical staff and continuity of care.

Research, collect, analyze, and prepare weekly treatment summaries for clientele involved in specialty court programs.

Prepare weekly court staffing reports to analyze the quality of collaboration between IPS and the various specialty court programs.

Respond to general inquiries from external partners via email and/or phone in a timely manner.

Maintain an awareness of IPS programs, policies, and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Organize documents to be submitted in the various courts.

Testify in court, as needed.

Assist and work collaboratively with staff, attorneys, and community supervision officers (CSO).

Create written summaries of court appearances and update records of court proceedings.

Establish and maintain files and records to track court caseloads.

Be responsive to inquiries from attorneys, CSO’s, and specialty court officials.

Required Skills

Ability to engage professionally with staff, attorneys, CSO’s, and specialty court officials.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four‑year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suites, Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
