Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Extensive experience and strong working knowledge of Sony FX series cameras, including the FX3, FX6, FX9, and A7S III.
Extensive experience filming on LED walls and in small studio environments.
Set up and creatively video‑record professional footage for BGEA, in‑studio, on live public events, and on location domestically and internationally.
Communicate ideas and concepts visually through excellent camera work, often based on scripts or as directed by a Producer or other leadership. Footage acquired should support the script, or if one does not exist, align with the stated purpose of the project.
Maintain high production standards, including the use of contemporary camera techniques, creative lighting effects, and excellence in technical application. Acquire alternative footage for B‑roll, perspective, establishing shots, and edit coverage.
Use all production equipment to its fullest advantage, and ensure that accurate records on footage content are generated.
Ensure digital media assets are delivered in the field to the Media Manager to allow for data backup and processing for non‑linear editing as well as establishing shot logs.
Prepare equipment and supplies for location shoots, ensuring that the equipment is packed properly to guard against damage, and keep the gear limited to proper weight standards of the airlines.
Remain accountable for production equipment while in house and on the field.
Secure and maintain the documentation (Carnet) of equipment related to the carrying out of duties overseas. Plan and secure customs clearances on all international shoots. Assure the proper amount of supplies to fulfill needs of the shoot.
Assist with upkeep and inventory of VMS production equipment (cameras, mixers, lights, grip gear, etc.) and organize equipment storage areas, including the VMS ENG closet.
Assist with set up and maintenance of the VMS studio, including props, lighting, and other equipment.
Marginal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in “producing” of select projects as directed by supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications (Skills & Knowledge)
Experience with computer software, such as non‑linear editing software systems.
Experience with UAS (drones), FAA Section 107 license preferred.
Working knowledge of digital media management in studio and field.
Experience with Carnet International Documentation.
Ability to take initiative with required tasks, delivering the requested results with regard to department quality standards.
Experience with state‑of‑the‑art video equipment, including 4K and High Definition cameras and peripheral equipment.
Familiarity with protocols, set etiquette, and relationships while on video productions.
Experience working with talent and corporate principals.
Ability to relate to people well, being approachable, and able to manage administrative tasks simultaneously.
Must possess project management skills.
Ability to provide leadership and to work as a team member; to give and take direction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to interact with people of all backgrounds, demonstrating sensitivity to those of other cultures.

Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in a conventional office environment.
Video recording locations may expose the employee to wet or humid conditions, extreme weather, noisy environments, and other insecure and potentially unsafe settings.
Domestic and international travel required.
Ability to work long hours, at short notice, if necessary.
