Media Planner (Social Activation)

The Media Planner, Paid Social serves as the day-to-day steward of paid social activation for an assigned brand, managing campaign execution, budget tracking, and overall workflow across platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of the client's business, applying platform expertise and performance insights to deliver against campaign objectives.
The Planner partners closely with the Supervisor in developing and executing paid social strategies and is responsible for managing campaign details, overseeing Associates, and ensuring seamless delivery across all activation efforts.
Responsibilities include:
Support the Supervisor in developing paid social activation plans and campaign recommendations
Manage end-to-end execution across key social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat)
Maintain accurate budget tracking, pacing, and billing alignment; provide regular updates to internal teams and clients
Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities to improve results
Demonstrate strong understanding of paid social fundamentals, including audience targeting, platform buying models, and performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
Utilize platform tools and reporting systems to manage campaigns and extract insights
Partner with analytics and strategy teams to ensure campaigns align with broader media and business objectives
Ensure accuracy in campaign setup, trafficking, and QA across all platforms
Build collaborative relationships with internal activation teams and partner agencies to ensure smooth execution
Contribute to performance recaps, insights, and testing recommendations
Demonstrate agility and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment
Assist in developing POVs and recommendations on new social products, features, and opportunities
Support Associates by helping prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of campaign requirements
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
1–2 years of hands-on paid social activation or digital media experience
Experience working within social platforms (Meta Ads Manager strongly preferred; exposure to TikTok, Reddit, and Snapchat, etc.)
Strong proficiency in Excel and campaign reporting
Familiarity with media and/or social analytics tools
Solid understanding of paid social metrics, targeting strategies, and optimization approaches
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities
Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Compensation Range: $60,800 - $93,600. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
