Job Description

We are hiring a

Production Technician

to join a fast-paced manufacturing team focused on

mechanical and electronic assembly

, including battery systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality, and wants to grow in a structured, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

Assemble mechanical and electronic components using work instructions and basic hand tools

Test battery packs and electrical assemblies in a safe, controlled environment

Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

Handle ESD-sensitive components using proper procedures

Follow safety guidelines when working around electrical equipment

Keep your work area clean and organized using

5S standards

Help troubleshoot minor production issues and support equipment upkeep

Document your work and communicate clearly with team members

Assist in training new hires and sharing best practices

Pitch in on general production tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

3+ years

of production, assembly, or manufacturing experience

Experience with

mechanical and/or electronic assembly

Comfortable working around

electrical equipment

(battery testing is a plus)

Familiar with

ESD handling practices

Basic computer skills (data entry, work instructions)

Strong attention to detail and quality

Able to lift up to

20 kg (45 lbs)

and stand for long periods

Good communication skills and team mindset

Open to working

different shifts

as needed

Nice to Have

Background in

Lean Manufacturing or 5S

Experience troubleshooting equipment or supporting maintenance

Previous mentoring or training experience

Experience in fast-paced production (assembly line, packaging, etc.)

Work Environment

The role is based in a production and assembly facility focused on mechanical and electronic components, including battery packs. You will work around heavy-duty electrical equipment and ESD-sensitive components, following strict safety and handling procedures. The environment emphasizes Lean Manufacturing and 5S, so work areas are kept clean, organized, and efficient. The position operates in a multi-shift structure, requiring flexibility to work different shifts as needed. You will use a combination of hand tools, production equipment, testing devices, and computer systems to perform assembly, testing, inspection, and documentation tasks. The work involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and safely lifting up to 20 kg as part of regular duties.
