Maintenance Documentation Internship

The Maintenance Documentation Intern plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in keeping the Sheboygan site running smoothly. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance data and documentationsupporting calibrations, asset records, preventive maintenance (PM) data, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) documentation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed, organized work and wants to support site operations without needing prior maintenance experience.
What You'll Do
Enter and maintain maintenance data in the ERP/CMMS, including asset records, calibration data, PM schedules, and calibration certificates
File, organize, and retain LOTO forms and related documentation in accordance with established procedures
Update calibration records and PM data based on information provided by Maintenance and Reliability teams
Maintain accurate spare parts and storeroom inventory records with a strong focus on data entry and documentation
Generate routine reports to support maintenance data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Follow data entry standards and documentation practices to ensure data integrity
Work closely with maintenance personnel and supervisors to gather required information and resolve discrepancies
Support general documentation and archival tasks as assigned
Demonstrate safety awareness, identify potential documentation or reporting issues, and escalate concerns as needed
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
No maintenance experience required
Experience with data entry, filing systems, or administrative support (preferred)
