Our client is a non-profit organization that operates upscale senior assisted living communities in the region. We're currently seeking a skilled

Community Outreach & Activities Director

to play a pivotal role in their continued success.

Job Summary:

This director leads resident engagement initiatives while also driving community outreach and referral development. They serve as a resident experience leader and community ambassador, partnering with internal leadership and external referral sources to strengthen resident satisfaction, community visibility, and census development. The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable

balancing outreach/sales activity with on-site programming and family interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and maintain referral relationships in conjunction with the Marketing Director
Develop hospital relationships and conduct hospital rounding 2-3 times per week in conjunction with nursing leadership
Visit rehabilitation centers, SNFs, and other referral sources to promote community capabilities
Attend community networking events and deliver community presentations as needed
Maintain consistent referral source communication and follow-up, including daily touch-base calls per schedule
Coordinate outreach events and deliver marketing materials to referral partners
Conduct and support tours for prospective residents and families
Assist with screens as needed and support the overall prospect/family experience
Showcase resident engagement and explain programming to prospective residents and families
Create a strong connection with families and support a positive decision-making experience
Oversee resident engagement programming, including monthly calendar events and special events
Lead resident satisfaction initiatives and support family events
Support resident council activities and ongoing engagement efforts
Requirements:

2+ years experience in marketing, community outreach, or business development
Previous marketing experience in the healthcare, senior living, or related sectors is preferred.
Knowledge of the local healthcare system and experience in partnership development with health providers is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and networking skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to attend community events and networking opportunities.
Clean driver's license. Travel between locations is required.
