Primary Purpose

To develop, implement, and oversee Connie Maxwell Children's Ministries' online marketing strategies across various digital channels like social media, search engines, email, and websites, aiming to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, and ultimately increase donors, while managing budgets and analyzing campaign performance.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to achieve CMCM's goals
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and PPC campaigns
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and ROI
  • Develop high-quality content strategies to engage target audiences and build brand awareness
  • Manage content calendars and distribution across relevant platforms
  • Implement strategies to improve organic search ranking on search engines
  • Create engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring social media interactions
  • Manage the digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and vendors
  • Maintain brand consistency across web, events, and/or social media campaigns
  • Assist the Advancement team with the execution of web-based giving campaigns
  • Work towards achieving yearly "Gold Star" list
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and email campaigns
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools
  • Excellent analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Experience working collaboratively across departments
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to improve processes and get things done in an efficient manner
  • Is dependable, accessible, available, and adaptable
  • Knowledge of Southern Baptist churches and culture
  • Knowledge of Non-Profit organizations

Work Conditions

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hand and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends based on ministry needs
  • Ability to work under stress during peak workload periods
