Responsibilities
Content Creation & Execution
Develop and produce engaging social media content, including posts, stories, reels, and basic graphics aligned with brand strategies. Adapt content for platform-specific best practices across TikTok, X, Meta and emerging channels, and assist with light photo and video editing to ensure content is polished and ready to publish.
Copywriting
Write clear, concise, and compelling social copy that reflects each client’s brand voice and drives engagement. Draft captions and contribute to content ideation with an eye toward performance and audience relevance.
Platform & Community Management
Execute the day-to-day management of client social channels, including scheduling and publishing content, maintaining content queues, and ensuring accuracy across platforms. Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, responding in a timely and brand-appropriate manner while fostering positive, authentic engagement with each community.
Content Calendar Implementation
Support the execution of content calendars by ensuring posts are prepared, approved, and published on schedule. Coordinate with internal teams to gather assets, track approvals, and maintain organization across multiple accounts and timelines.
User-Generated Content (UGC) Coordination
Identify, source, and organize user-generated content for potential use across social channels. Track permissions, maintain organized content libraries, and flag standout content opportunities that align with campaign goals.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Assist in compiling monthly and campaign-level performance reports, tracking key metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth. Identify trends, surface insights, and contribute to clear, actionable takeaways that inform future content and strategy.
Influencer & Partnership Support
Support influencer and partner campaigns through day-to-day communication, coordination of logistics such as itineraries and deliverables, and organization of campaign assets. Assist in compiling content and data for post-campaign recaps and reporting.
Trend & Platform Monitoring
Stay informed on platform updates, emerging trends, and new features, bringing forward timely ideas that can enhance content performance and keep client channels relevant and engaging.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with account, PR, and creative teams to ensure social media content aligns with broader marketing initiatives. Participate in brainstorms, contribute ideas, and support integrated campaigns across multiple channels.
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Strong writing and communication skills with close attention to detail
Experience in posting and managing social platforms and applying general best practices
Basic proficiency in design and photo/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, etc.)
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Demonstrable experience in crafting successful social media campaigns.
Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, organization, or client
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, HeyOrca, Meta Business Suite, native platform insights)
Basic photography or video production skills, including shooting and editing short-form content
Comfort working in a fast-paced agency or client-service environment
Experience supporting influencer or creator partnerships
