General Summary of Position
The Assistant Squash Professional is a non‑exempt position whose primary responsibility is developing the squash program, including private lessons and group clinics relating to all facets of the game for men, ladies, and juniors of all levels.

Primary Job Functions

Teaching lessons and clinics to adults and children

Participating in squash leagues and tournaments

Assisting with member events and promoting club programs

Maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Greeting members and guests throughout the property

Understanding and anticipating the needs of our members; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum squash skill level of 3.5

Knowledge of or participation in US College Squash

Experience providing private squash lessons/clinics for adults and children

Ability to analyze needs and motivate adults and children

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs

Exceptional customer service skills

Confident coach and dependable team player

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional appearance and friendly manner

Proficient in a PC/Windows environment

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Regular interaction with members and clients in person, phone, and email.

Location of the position changes frequently; no extreme environmental conditions.

Often required to handle unpleasant or angry people and problem‑solve difficult situations.

Must adapt to a frequently changing environment.

Sitting and standing as needed.

Use of hands for handling or measuring objects and reaching with hands and arms.

Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
