About the role:
The
Marketing Communications Specialist
is responsible for coordinating communications, marketing, and events. The role supports the delivery of magniX's communications strategy and campaigns, content creation, media relations, and manages key events and shows throughout the year.
Primary Responsibilities:
Marketing and Event Coordination (30%)
Coordinate key events and tradeshows throughout the year, including the magniX presence at major airshows such as Oshkosh, Sun n' Fun and European shows, to showcase magniX technologies.
Manage a suite of marketing materials, including brochures, datasheets, banners, digital assets and presentations, to support shows as well as outreach at smaller events.
Drive growth of magniX's brand presence across digital and social media channels by communicating the company's technology leadership and vision for sustainable aviation.
Monitor competitor activity and media coverage to build market intelligence and identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
Communications Strategy (20%)
Develop, implement, and monitor magniX's annual communications strategy to raise awareness of magniX and drive interest in the company and its mission.
Coordinate communications planning for major projects and initiatives across the company to strengthen trust and engagement with magniX.
Communications Content (30%)
Plan and produce integrated content that positions magniX as a market leader, including LinkedIn posts, articles, and written stories across owned channels.
Coordinate video and photography production, from briefing and shoot logistics through to final delivery, ensuring output aligns with brand standards.
Identify, curate, and develop compelling stories in a range of formats to engage priority audiences.
Review external content, including website materials, to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
Media Relations and Reputational Management (20%)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets to enhance corporate reputation and support marketing and communications programs.
Contribute to issue and crisis communications efforts to protect and enhance magniX's reputation.
Draft press releases, press kits, articles, and thought leadership content.
Coordinate media gatherings, press briefings, and related events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
4+ years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with coordinating trade shows and event planning.
Strong background in developing and delivering communications plans.
Experience creating and editing high-quality content for external and internal audiences.
Experience building and managing relationships with cross-functional teams, leaders, media, and external partners.

This role requires up to 20% national and internation travel
