Position Overview
As the Sponsored Display Ads Product Lead, you will own and drive the development, execution, and continuous optimization of our sponsored display advertising products. This role is essential to expanding CMX's advertising offerings, enhancing user engagement, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, sales, and data science—to bring new products to market and ensure our display ads perform to the highest standards in relevance, effectiveness, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define, communicate, and execute a strategic roadmap for sponsored display ads that aligns with CMX's goals for user experience, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Product Development: Lead the full product lifecycle for sponsored display ads, from ideation to launch and ongoing iteration. Collaborate with engineering and design to ensure timely delivery of new features and enhancements.
- Executive Buy‑In: Present strategies, roadmaps, and product outcomes to executive leadership, gaining support for strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve large‑scale conflicts that may arise across functions, advocating for product vision and business objectives while balancing team and stakeholder needs.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and advertiser requirements, translating insights into actionable product features and strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and account management to ensure alignment on objectives, gather customer feedback, and develop resources that effectively position and communicate product benefits to advertisers.
- Optimization & Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, using data to make informed decisions on feature enhancements, targeting, and delivery optimizations to drive engagement and conversion.
- Revenue Growth: Develop monetization strategies, including audience targeting, pricing models, and ad placement optimizations to maximize revenue while preserving a positive user experience.
- Compliance & Privacy: Ensure product compliance with data privacy laws, industry standards, and CMX's policies, fostering trust with users and clients.
- Establishing Best Practices: Drive product management best practices within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management, with a focus on digital advertising, display ads, or ad tech.
- 5+ years of technical proficiency: Familiarity with ad tech stack components, DSPs, SSPs, programmatic buying, and media measurement. Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making. Experience in handling large data sets to drive product insights and improvements.

- Cross‑Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments, resolve complex conflicts, and lead cross‑functional projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about understanding user behavior, advertiser needs, and trends in digital advertising to deliver a product that meets both client and consumer expectations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent (4 years' experience and High School Diploma/GED) required. MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 – $199,144.00. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
