About this role
The Account Executive is a field sales position responsible for client retention and growth across a portfolio of Large Enterprise accounts with annual revenue exceeding $500 million. The role involves selling to Chief Sales Officers, Heads of Sales, CROs, and Sales Leaders, ensuring clients receive the value they expect from Gartner and identifying opportunities for stronger value delivery with additional product offerings.
Account Territory
Large Enterprise accounts with $500 million or more in annual revenue.
What you will do
Drive value delivery with current Gartner clients, ensuring maximum benefit from Gartner services.
Identify, cultivate, qualify, and close client growth opportunities through cross‑sell and upsell.
Build a pipeline of high‑quality opportunities to meet sales metrics and ensure KPI achievement.
Own quota responsibility for the assigned territory.
Manage complex, high‑revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
What you will need
5–8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
Experience selling to or influencing C‑Level executives.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to own, manage, and forecast a complex sales process.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
