Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Supervisor. In this role, the successful candidate provides day‑to‑day oversight and coordinates activities related to HIV care and prevention services such as HIV testing, linkage to care, and PrEP/PEP services throughout the network. The Program Supervisor also oversees grant activities, manages grant record‑keeping and programmatic and fiscal reporting, supervises Prevention Navigators, and collaborates with program leadership to develop and implement new programs to support HIV testing and prevention across the network. The role serves as a resource and point of contact for FHC staff seeking information or guidance related to HIV prevention and related topics, and provides consultation and support to other FHC departments seeking to improve HIV testing and prevention efforts.

Job Responsibilities

Provides direct supervision to Prevention Navigators as assigned.

Designs, implements, and evaluates network‑wide initiatives to improve HIV testing rates and increase access to PrEP, including scheduling staff & provider trainings, providing educational resources, and developing and disseminating workflows.

Holds primary responsibility for all aspects of the grant, including program design, staff training, quality assurance, and budget preparation and monitoring. Provides consulting and assistance to other grant‑funded initiatives in the integration of HIV testing and prevention services.

Maintains calendar of grant‑related and internal reporting requirements, and is responsible for timely preparation of reporting including tracking, monitoring, and reporting of program deliverables, services, quality assurance, and reporting to funders and NYC Department of Health as required.

Conducts regular review of HIV testing logs to ensure data quality and program effectiveness, including monitoring and coordinating point‑of‑care testing competency assessment for staff and other training needs, implementing changes as needed, and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.

Oversees day‑to‑day operations related to HIV prevention, including reviewing patient charts, testing logs, and lab reports, coordinating linkage to services as needed, and managing distribution and reconciliation of patient incentives and MetroCards.

Supports coordination of program events, collaborates with leaders in the targeted community, participates in meetings with partnering agencies and coalitions, and coordinates supervisees’ participation in community events such as health fairs and LGBT events.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in HIV prevention/care and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills, along with strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and ability to multi‑task and coordinate multiple assignments as required.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and experience working with culturally diverse communities, including LGBT populations. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Salary
Salary range: $66,299.99 – $82,584.60 annually. Actual salaries depend on factors such as experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other compensation.
