Position Overview
IROC is seeking a creative, self-driven Social Media Manager to oversee and execute content across all social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about motorsports, storytelling, and digital content creation. The ideal candidate will not only manage posting and engagement but also capture and produce high-quality visual content, including photography and short‑form video.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and execute a content calendar across all social platforms
Write compelling captions and maintain a consistent brand voice
Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and interact with fans
Track performance metrics and optimize content strategy accordingly
Content Creation
Capture high-quality photography at events, behind‑the‑scenes moments, and promotional shoots
Shoot and edit short‑form video content for social media
Cut together race clips, archival footage, and highlight moments into engaging videos
Event Coverage
Attend select IROC events to provide real‑time social media coverage
Coordinate with drivers, partners, and team members to capture key moments
Deliver timely content during and immediately following events
Brand & Growth
Help grow IROC’s digital presence and audience across all platforms
Identify opportunities for fan engagement, partnerships, and viral content
Qualifications & Skills
Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, team, or organization
Strong photography skills (professional or high‑level amateur)
Proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)
Passion for motorsports is strongly preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days
