Technical Editor - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project

ProSidian Seeks a Technical Editor - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project - GSSC [Full-Time [W-2] Senior Consultant] located: The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area to Provide services and support as a Technical Editor - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (PR0169) at The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.
Provides Technical Editing and Support Services for The Department of Energy (DOE) Hanford Site for the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP).
Responsibilities and Duties
Support senior management and staff at the Office of River Protection (ORP) and on the WTP Project with expertise to conduct recommendations and solutions to project issues, technical document preparation, editing, analysis, and digital technology implementation.
Conduct daily tasks to perform the ongoing coordination and the development and production of project documents, procedures, plans, and other communications deliverables necessary for ongoing support to senior management, AMWTP and WTP Project management policy and reporting requirements.
Perform development and maintenance of multiple WTP Project management planning documents, processes, procedures, presentations, and communication products using specialize knowledge.
Assist Federal staff in the creation and maintenance of documentation, provide technical document editing, writing, and production.
Assist federal staff in the creation and maintenance of WTP Project and DFLAW Program graphics, provide technical editing, production, and upkeep.
Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Technical Editor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Technical Editor employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished, and deliverable progress.
Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For A GSSC Technical Editor - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project (PR0169) | Full-Time [W-2] Candidates:
The Technical Editor - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Project - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
Skills / Abilities / Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
Technical Editor personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field. Six (6) years of experience may be substituted for BS/BA degree.
Five (5) years' experience in related field.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and/or other Office tools.
Skilled in problem identification and resolution.
Knowledge of the Hanford Site, (preferred).
Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.
Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site Technical Editors.
U.S. Citizenship
Competencies Required
U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen
Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a "Facility Access Authorization" (also referred to as an "Employment Authorization") by the USG's designated Security Office.

Must be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance.
Ancillary Details Of The Roles
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
Location: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area
