Who We Are

Orion is an extremely experienced team of repeat founders with multiple 9 and 10-figure exits in consumer products and health-tech. The team has a combination of technical, marketing, product, operational, manufacturing, and sleep science expertise.


Role

This is a full-time on-site role located in our SoHo office in New York, NY, 5 days per week. Reports to the VP.

Orion is customer-centric. We pride ourselves on having the best customer support in the category, and our lifecycle communications need to match that standard — every send should feel like an extension of that care.

  • Lead the customer relationship across email, SMS, and push — welcome email, journey to purchase, onboarding, and reengagement for referrals and reviews. Your voice and approach define the program
  • Build personalized journeys driven by where each customer is in their relationship with Orion — if you can imagine it, we can build it
  • Design educational content that moves prospects through a long, considered purchase decision
  • Own the segmentation and event architecture that powers personalization
  • Surface high-intent prospects to the sales team with full context, so reps spend their time on real conversations
  • Lead the design and launch of loyalty, referral, and review programs built for a category where advocacy is decisive
  • Direct or produce email and SMS creative that reflects the quality of the product and the standard of our customer support
  • Run an aggressive experimentation program across messaging, creative, frequency, and journey design
  • Own lifecycle KPIs: engagement, attributed revenue, retention, deliverability, unsubscribe
  • Partner with Sales on qualification criteria, handoff logic, and pipeline contribution
  • Partner with Product and Data on the signals we capture and how we use them
  • Be intimately connected to the product, the customer, and the data


Who You Are

  • 2-4 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or growth marketing (and A LOT of passion to grow)
  • Hands-on with Klaviyo strongly preferred — and comfortable owning flows, segments, A/B tests, and reporting
  • Creative thinker with a point of view — you bring original ideas, not just best-practice execution
  • Design eye — you can build a clean, on-brand email yourself or art-direct with minimal back-and-forth
  • Comfortable in a startup environment: you figure things out, move fast, and don't wait to be told what to do
  • Strategic about email — you think about how a sequence drives a purchase or a sales conversation, not just engagement rate
  • Data-curious: you track what you try, learn from it, and iterate
  • Customer-obsessed — you treat the inbox as an extension of the support experience
  • Experience in D2C, hospitality, fitness, wellness, or consumer health is a plus
