Strategic Internal Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute multiple communications plans simultaneously to support initiatives such as shared services, regionalization, and other division priorities.

Draft and manage recurring communications, including newsletters, monthly regional director follow‑up emails, monthly talking points, written updates and announcements.

Coordinate and consolidate communications across internal divisions to ensure messaging is timely, accurate, and consistent.

Work within an established communications framework, tailoring existing templates and plans rather than building from scratch.

Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and partners for written communications.

Educate internal teams on appropriate communication channels and tools for reaching audiences.

Maintain engagement logistics, including relations calendars, meeting invites and agendas, post‑meeting follow‑up communications.

Track trending topics (e.g., via Salesforce or similar tools) to identify proactive communication opportunities.

Provide administrative communications support, including backup for memo posting and inquiry queues.

Collaborate with compliance and program teams to ensure critical deadlines and updates are reflected in communications.

Support new and evolving initiatives by assisting with light template or material updates as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO. This position requires Colorado State residency.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.93 – $41.93/hr.
