Job Description
The Associate Director, Project Management is a critical role within the Spark Foundry Media Investment team, directly supporting the Senior Vice President of Integrated Investment. This individual is responsible for driving the end-to-end project management of media investment operations across a large healthcare portfolio. The AD, Project Management serves as the connective tissue between internal investment, planning, finance, and client operations teams, as well as external vendor and media partners — ensuring that workflows are structured, timelines are met, and investment data is accurate, actionable, and delivered with precision.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end project management
across all activation workstreams, maintaining clear timelines, milestone tracking, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders throughout the full investment lifecycle
Manage internal workflows and processes
in close partnership with investment leads, planning teams, and client operations, establishing structure and consistency across day-to-day and long-range deliverables
Coordinate external vendor and partner relationships , tracking billing deliverables, clearance timelines, and investment pacing to ensure all partner commitments are executed on time and in alignment with client goals
Own monthly spend tracking and reporting , including planned vs. actual analysis, delivery reporting, and client-facing investment summaries across a large portfolio account
Track and communicate client-delivered value , ensuring that investment outcomes and partner performance are documented, reported, and surfaced to relevant stakeholders on a consistent cadence
Partner with Finance and Client Operations teams
to support financial reporting, budget authorization, supplier invoice reconciliation, and compliance with internal and external audit requirements
Support planning and investment leads
with tools, systems, and process management — including onboarding, training, and ongoing optimization across the team's technology stack
Build strong cross-functional relationships
across investment, planning, activation, finance, and procurement, facilitating alignment and operational synergy across all teams that touch the Abbott business
Drive a culture of data integrity and operational excellence , implementing proactive checks and balances that ensure flawless execution across all investment and project management functions
Qualifications
4–5 years of experience in media investment, project management, or media agency operations, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams from initiation through delivery
Proven track record of balancing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and clear communication across all levels of an organization
Strong analytical skills with a foundation in financial management, spend tracking, and investment reporting
Experience implementing structured workflows, process documentation, and operational checks and balances to ensure consistent, flawless execution
Proficiency in
MediaTools, Excel, Prisma, SharePoint, and SmartSheets ; comfort adopting new tools and platforms as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to translate complex operational details into clear, concise updates for both internal leadership and client stakeholders
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and solutions-oriented with a hands‑on, “own it” mentality
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams and functions

Compensation Range: $97,375- $139,965 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
