Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Specialist to support ongoing brand, content, and campaign initiatives for a fast-paced organization in Nashville. This contract role will focus on social media management, content creation, campaign execution, and marketing coordination across digital channels.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing both strategy and hands-on execution in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day social media activity across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and X
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social content aligned with brand voice and campaign goals
- Assist with content development including copywriting, graphics coordination, short-form video, and email marketing assets
- Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments/messages as needed, and track community interaction
- Support marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and brand initiatives across digital channels
- Coordinate content calendars and maintain posting schedules
- Track campaign performance and provide basic reporting/analytics insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and leadership teams to support brand visibility and audience growth
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging digital marketing opportunities
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and best practices
- Experience with content scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience supporting brand campaigns, events, or lifestyle/consumer brands preferred
- Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Basic video editing or short-form content experience highly preferred
