The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to 83,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
Production Supervisor
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day planning and execution of production and fabrication operations. This role ensures customer orders are completed efficiently while driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
Production & Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of Fabrication and Salvage areas, ensuring execution of production goals.
Manage completion of customer orders from both production and inventory.
Utilize finished and semi‑finished inventory to optimize order fulfillment and cost efficiency.
Manage salvage materials by determining reuse, rework, or scrap strategies.
Partner with Production Planning to ensure on‑time delivery, including accommodating rush orders.
Adapt quickly to schedule changes and direct team priorities accordingly.
Collaborate with Purchasing on scheduling, inventory, and production decisions.
Maintain product reporting systems for cost control and inventory accuracy.
Recommend warehousing and storage methods to minimize damage and improve efficiency.
Implement and support regular inventory cycle counts.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve operational goals.
Manage workforce allocation to meet production demands safely and efficiently.
Drive accountability and performance through clear expectations and communication.
Support employee training, cross‑training, and skill development.
Foster a culture of teamwork, engagement, and inclusion.
Maintain strong housekeeping and workplace standards.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and drive a zero‑incident safety culture.
Ensure completion of all required safety training.
Lead safety initiatives including:
Behavior‑based safety observations
Near miss reporting
Safety meetings and inspections
Coach employees on safe work practices and reinforce desired behaviors.
Investigate safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Communicate and reinforce safety expectations across the operation.

Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments.
Experience working closely with cross‑functional teams such as Purchasing and Planning.
SAP experience, particularly with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of production operations including:
Production flow
Quality standards
Safety practices
Knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations.
Experience with SAP ERP systems (FI module preferred; S/4HANA a plus).
