Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing Commercial lines insurance policies (new and renewal) while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals.
Responsibilities

Maintain a Property & Casualty license and keep up with Continuing Education.
Understand and follow the Cross Basic Procedure Manual and the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual.
Follow up and complete open suspensions daily.
Service and sell insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with company personnel, including underwriters, marketing representatives, companies service center, and claims representatives.
Provide quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
Proactively retain accounts when applicable.
Stay up to date on new insurance products and market/industry trends.
Understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
Organize, set, and maintain priorities.
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) to complete day‑to‑day tasks.
Collect payment information, upload payments to company websites, and record activity notes.
Meet annual sales goals.
Follow up on all ‘Broker of Record’ letters within your assigned book of business.
Service an average size book of business.
Qualifications

Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills.
Working knowledge of and/or experience with Microsoft Office applications.
