Commercial Lines Account Manager

Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing commercial lines insurance policies (new and renewal) while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities

Service new and renewal commercial lines insurance policies.
Create and maintain strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals.
Maintain a Property & Casualty license and keep up with Continuing Education.
Follow the Cross Basic Procedure Manual and the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual.
Follow up and complete open suspense’s daily.
Serve and sell insurance products to prospective and existing clients.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with company personnel (underwriters, marketing representatives, company service center, and claims representatives).
Provide quality customer service to existing and prospective clients.
Proactively retain accounts when applicable.
Stay current on new insurance products and market/industry trends.
Understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
Organize, set, and maintain priorities.
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) effectively.
Collect payment information, upload payments to company websites, and record activity notes.
Meet the annual sales goal.
Follow up on all 'Broker of Record' letters within your assigned book of business.
Manage an average size book of business.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Strong written, oral, and phone communication skills.
Ability to understand and analyze insurance coverage and policy forms.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to meet an annual sales goal.
Commitment to Continuing Education requirements and license maintenance.
