General Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Content Marketing Engineer responsible for architecting, optimizing, and delivering scalable content solutions that drive complex, multichannel marketing initiatives. You will utilize AI-driven writing tools, content automation platforms, and audience analytics to ensure content is strategically crafted, technically sound, and optimized for digital platforms. Collaborating closely with creative, UX, development, and program management teams is key to ensuring content is reusable, personalized, and effectively measurable across various channels.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

6+ years of professional experience in communications; agency experience is a plus

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into content architecture

Exceptional writing, editing, and creative skills across traditional and digital media

Experience with content management and automation tools, especially Headless CMS

Proficiency in analytics platforms for content performance tracking

Knowledge of content modeling and structured authoring, such as DITA and Markdown

Familiarity with AI writing tools like CoPilot and Writer.com

Understanding of APIs, HTML/XML, and basic scripting

Adept in fast-paced, collaborative environments and able to translate strategic visions into practical solutions

Proven ability to mentor and develop emerging Content Engineers

Passionate about brainstorming and idea generation

Self-motivated and effective both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Takes initiative and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership

Proficient in AP style guidelines

Ability to structure and deliver content for digital platforms using information science and user experience best practices

Collaborative experience with teams to enhance content usability, accessibility, and engagement

Familiar with content management systems, metadata, taxonomy, and digital asset organization

Focus on creating scalable content solutions - "create once, reuse everywhere".

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Define content models and standards to ensure deliverables are strategic and distinctive

Architect and engineer content experiences aligning with brand strategy and audience needs

Create modular, reusable content components for personalized, omnichannel delivery

Collaborate with CX teams to create compelling program initiatives and support agile processes

Utilize AI tools to generate and optimize content across formats

Be accountable for high-level messaging that aligns marketing elements with strategy

Design and maintain content taxonomies and personalization rules for effective delivery

Partner with Creative Lead to develop comprehensive style guidelines

Build reusable content templates that meet audience needs and adhere to SEO best practices

Write pivotal communication pieces as required

Determine the best content placements across channels based on audience behavior

Present creative concepts to senior leadership and strategy review teams

Provide guidance and support to production teams and copywriters

Coordinate with internal and external agencies for consistent strategy

Engage in retrospectives to contribute to process improvement

Apply information architecture principles for intuitive content navigation

Design workflows for efficient content management and personalization

Work alongside UX and development teams to create user-centered, robust content solutions

May perform additional duties as needed
