Opportunity

The Apparel Designer supports QVC & HSN, playing a leading role in a small range brand/team. The position requires a committed individual with strong design skills and the ability to lead creative vision, execute design creation, and adhere to the design process.
What You'll Do

Manage overall creative direction for all classifications (jackets, skirts, pants, knits, sweaters) across specified brand(s).
Work with trend services to maintain awareness of high‑level trends and curate brand concepts presentations.
Maintain and manage information in PLM.
Develop seasonal color palettes by monitoring market color direction and internal brand color history.
Research market through trade shows and trend services, identify specific fabrics for the season, and collaborate with the sourcing team to source each fabric to meet pricing needs.
Coordinate with technical designers to ensure tech packages are accurate and complete; review with the manager and provide specific feedback and collaborative direction when necessary.
Adhere to seasonal time and action calendars.
Collaborate with internal sourcing teams, buyers, and technical design to address calendar issues and provide resolutions to maintain dates.
Approve fabric samples, lab dips, and other development materials sent from factories.
Maintain awareness of seasonal trends through market shopping, trend research, and stay current with the competition.
Travel internationally to gain knowledge of multi‑market product assortments.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
6+years of fashion design experience.
Strong design and conceptual skills.
Strong color sense and print sense.
Proficiency in PC operation, MS Office, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
