KPIX is looking for a highly talented part-time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.
Responsibilities
Produce timely video edits for television news content.
Work in a fast-paced television news environment with minimal supervision.
Participate in regular duties including ENG (Electronic News Gathering).
Maintain high detail orientation and meet strict deadlines.
Work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced television news environment.
Proficiency with Grass Valley Edius editing system preferred.
Creative, poised team player capable of juggling multiple projects.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Provide links to a demo reel demonstrating abilities.
