Associate Account Executive needed for WKTV in Utica, NY.
WKTV/NBC is the powerhouse TV station in Utica. Our enormous local news ratings combined with top syndication and NBC prime dominate the viewing all day long. We also have a fast-growing CBS station and a complete suite of Digital Products to sell. A loyal, local client base along with a productive sales team.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of an account list, RFPs, meetings, retention and growth
Close Local New Business each month
Build relationships with agencies and advertisers
Learn and grow the digital conversion of Media content
Assist the sales team in their proposals and RFPs
Assist the Sales Strategy Manager with National and Digital clients
Job Requirements
Able to work efficiently with attention to detail
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience calling on local and regional advertising agencies
Understand the nuances of negotiating agency business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in: Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word
Experience with OSI, Wide Orbit, Strata is a plus
Motivated and driven by performance-based commission
Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000 annually, based on experience
