Overview

Advertising Copywriter position located in Glendale, CA. This long-term contract role involves crafting creative and engaging brand messaging across digital, print, and social platforms for the Disney Store and Outlet. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to produce campaigns that resonate with a global audience.
Responsibilities

Develop compelling copy for various brand assets, including web pages, mobile applications, and print materials.
Apply global voice guidelines and creative direction principles to ensure consistency across all platforms.
Craft headlines, sub-headlines, calls-to-action, and promotional content tailored to specific campaigns.
Write product descriptions that highlight unique features and benefits in an engaging storytelling manner.
Partner with graphic designers, merchandisers, and buyers to create cohesive brand messaging.
Provide copy for organic and paid social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and X.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammatical correctness, and alignment with brand voice.
Conduct market research to generate fresh ideas and ensure messaging is relevant to target audiences.
Collaborate with creative teams to execute assigned campaigns and meet project deadlines.
Attend team meetings and reviews to coordinate efforts and maintain alignment with brand strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in advertising, media communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of copywriting experience with attention to detail, preferably in a retail environment.
Strong knowledge of creative development and website production processes.
Familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic characters and stories.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience writing for social media platforms and creating SEO-friendly content.
