Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Email Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator works primarily on the email marketing team and drives the J.Crew business. This person assists in deploying daily emails, SMS, and Push Notifications, ensuring accuracy of all outgoing communication, and reporting on performance.
Responsibilities
Set up, QA, and deploy email, SMS, and push campaigns for J.Crew business
Analyze and report email campaign performance with quantitative and qualitative data to drive channel performance
Support segmentation and personalization strategies to optimize content at the customer level
Create and build audience segments
Deliver against revenue, key business KPIs and goals
Assist in reporting creative performance to the creative marketing team to inform email, SMS, and push content strategy
Partner with Production, Creative, Email Operations, Planning, and Site Merchandising teams to drive the email, SMS and push channel strategy
Handle ad hoc tasks for the broader marketing organization as needed
Manage the status of email, SMS, and push sends to ensure timely delivery
Compile and maintain competitor content
Qualifications
1–2 years of related experience in email marketing
Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics
Experience with a major ESP (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe)
Very strong communication and teamwork skills
High level of organization with attention to detail
Self‑starter who exhibits curiosity
Ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a fast‑paced, changing environment
Resilience under high‑pressure situations
Aptitude to think strategically but act tactically
Confidence in project management and presentation skills
