Executive Director of Sales, National Marketing Partnerships – Culver City, CA.

The Executive Director of Sales, National Marketing Partnerships will be responsible for selling and collaborating on the execution of brand partnerships across the theatrical and home entertainment slate of titles, including Columbia Pictures, TriStar, Sony Pictures Animation and Crunchyroll. The role requires existing relationships with domestic and global brands across industries such as QSR/Restaurants, package goods, electronics, wireless service, food/beverage, fashion and more. The candidate will research and cold‑call potential clients, craft strong presentation narratives, and deliver best‑in‑class partnerships. Collaboration across teams to negotiate deal terms and partnership parameters will be essential to drive exposure for theatrical and home release campaigns while meeting brand objectives. Experience in generating revenue through event sponsorship is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and negotiate marketing partnerships across a variety of brand categories for multiple film titles
  • Maintain a can‑do attitude and flexibility as film priorities change
  • Create partnership pitch lists for upcoming film releases
  • Brainstorm and execute creative outreach strategies, conducting outreach to targeted brand partners to secure new partnerships
  • Conceptualize partnership messaging to demonstrate how the film partnership delivers on brand objectives
  • Confidently present in‑person and virtually to potential and existing partners
  • Negotiate best‑in‑class partnerships with creative excellence delivering a definitive marketing message for the film
  • Negotiate deal points and develop and oversee legal contracts with the Business Affairs team
  • Collaborate with the Execution team throughout the campaign
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners through execution to ensure all parties achieve success
  • Partner with the International Partnerships team to ensure global success where possible
  • Work closely with other marketing division departments—publicity, digital, and media—to maximize partnership opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of entertainment or marketing experience
  • BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of paid media categories including linear television, OTT, digital, out‑of‑home, and social
  • Ability to manage multiple film projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and storytelling ability
  • Team player who can navigate both internal and external partners
