Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts. This role is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing new sales channels, including farmers markets, festivals, stadiums, entertainment venues, and other high-volume locations.The ideal candidate is proactive, well-connected, and experienced in food service, events, or concessions. This person will play a key role in driving revenue growth by bringing Kings Empanadas into new markets and venues.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities including:Farmers marketsFestivals and large-scale eventsStadiums and sports venuesConcert venues and entertainment spacesCorporate events and private catering opportunitiesConduct outreach (cold calls, emails, in-person visits) to event organizers, venue managers, and concession operatorsNegotiate contracts, vendor agreements, and participation termsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closingPartnership & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with:Event coordinatorsStadium/concession management teamsPromoters and venue operatorsServe as the primary point of contact for all new and existing venue partnershipsEnsure long-term partnerships by delivering consistent value and professionalismMarket Expansion StrategyResearch and identify high-traffic, high-revenue opportunitiesAnalyze potential ROI for new locations and eventsDevelop strategies to expand brand presence in key marketsStay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and new opportunitiesCoordination & ExecutionWork closely with operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new locationsCoordinate scheduling, logistics, and requirements for each event or venueEnsure compliance with local health, safety, and permitting requirementsQualificationsRequired2+ years of experience in:Business development, sales, or partnershipsFood service, hospitality, events, or concessions (strongly preferred)Proven track record of:Generating leadsClosing dealsBuilding long-term partnershipsStrong communication and negotiation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyComfortable with cold outreach and networkingPreferredExisting relationships with:Event organizersStadium or venue operatorsFood vendor coordinatorsExperience working with food trucks, catering companies, or mobile food businessesKnowledge of Southern California event and food sceneCompensation StructureBase salary (optional depending on candidate)What Success Looks LikeSecuring consistent placements at high-traffic farmers markets and eventsGaining entry into stadiums and large venuesIncreasing monthly revenue through new sales channelsBuilding a strong pipeline of recurring opportunities
