Production Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Production Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located at Frederick,MD. Details for the position are as follows:

Production Technician
Location: Frederick, MD
Pay Rate: $29/hr
Duration: 12 Months contract with high chance of extension possibility
Shift: Nights (2-2-3 schedule) | 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Job Description

Operate bioprocess manufacturing equipment in accordance with SOPs, MPRs, SPRs, and cGMP standards within a regulated production environment. Support manufacturing operations including solution preparation, cell culture, purification, formulation, and related processing activities. Execute batch documentation and manufacturing records accurately while utilizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Assist with equipment qualification activities under guidance of qualified technicians. Participate in troubleshooting non-routine production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required
BS/BA degree preferred
STEM-related degree preferred
Required Skills

Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing standards
Experience operating bioprocess or manufacturing equipment
Exposure to aseptic manufacturing environments
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Batch record documentation and execution
SOP, MPR, and SPR compliance
Solution preparation and formulation processes
Cell culture and purification process support
Computer proficiency in manufacturing environments
Preferred Skills

Biopharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing exposure
Aseptic processing experience
Equipment qualification support
Production floor troubleshooting
Continuous improvement in manufacturing operations
