Senior Sales Director – Los Angeles

MiQ is seeking a Senior Sales Director who will be a strategic, client‑focused leader responsible for driving significant revenue growth, cultivating deep and trusted client relationships, and managing a high‑performing sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation & Growth – Own and deliver ambitious revenue targets, consistently growing MiQ’s business through new and existing client partnerships. Identify, pursue, and close new buying points, while expanding relationships with current clients to maximize revenue opportunities. Leverage strategic partnerships and innovative product offerings to underpin and grow revenue, including leading commercial initiatives and product launches.
  • Deep Client Relationships – Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their needs and aligning MiQ’s solutions to deliver measurable value. Serve as a strategic advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and solve client challenges. Ensure high standards of customer service, acting as a reliable point of contact and advocate for client interests.
  • Team Leadership & Development – Manage, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on results, learning, and collaboration. Onboard, train, and coach new team members, ensuring rapid integration and success. Provide ongoing feedback, support, and professional development opportunities to help team members achieve their goals and grow their careers.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Trading, Account Management and Marketing teams to deliver on client goals and drive the best outcomes for MiQ and enhance our visibility regionally.
  • Operational Excellence – Implement and optimize sales processes to drive efficiency and scalability. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, using data to inform strategy and decision‑making. Champion MiQ’s values and culture, serving as a role model for integrity, hard work, and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 5‑7 years of programmatic, digital or media sales experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth in a sales leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain deep, trusted client relationships, with a client‑first mindset.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing high‑performing sales teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • High level of organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Passion for learning, personal development, and continuous improvement.
