Job Overview

Purpose of the role: To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities

Development and delivery of high‑quality software solutions using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
Ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross‑functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster technical excellence and growth.
Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Leadership & Strategic Expectations

Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and raise policy or procedure breaches. If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan for future departmental needs, counsel employees on performance, and influence pay decisions. For individual contributors, act as a subject‑matter expert and guide technical direction, leading collaborative assignments, training less experienced specialists, and providing information that affects long‑term profits, risk, and strategic decisions. Advise key stakeholders, manage risks, demonstrate accountability for risk controls, and collaborate with other areas to support business strategies. Create solutions through sophisticated analysis, adopt research outcomes, and build trusted partnerships for achieving outcomes. Qualifications

Enterprise content management/content governance experience; ability to operate in large, multi‑layered, or regulated environments.
Practical experience in taxonomy, metadata model, classification scheme design and content performance (SEO/AEO, analytics).
Extensive content lifecycle management and publishing governance knowledge with experience on Microsoft 365/SharePoint.
Ability to translate strategy into practical standards, operating models, and functional specifications.
Effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Other highly valued skills may include:

Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or enterprise intranet platforms.
Familiarity with search and answer engine optimisation (SEO/AEO), analytics, and content performance metrics.
Experience supporting digital workplace or knowledge management capabilities.

Whippany, NJ office.
Salary

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
Base salary only; does not include other compensation or benefits.
