Responsibilities

Ensures guest safety through observing and surveying the crowd at all times.
Patrols entertainment venues to preserve order among guests and protect assets.
Promotes positive public relations and strives to create an enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
Responds to requests for assistance and information in a helpful and courteous manner.
Monitors dress code and checks guest identification to ensure they are age appropriate.
Screens guests with metal detectors and conducts bag checks.
Promotes and issues the Player’s Club card.
Works to prevent and resolve altercations among guests, stopping all inappropriate behavior immediately in a professional manner.
Enforces capacity regulations and assists with entertainment venue counts.
Assists with event set up and breakdown.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum six (6) months of guest services experience required.
Must be able to multi‑task effectively.
Must be able to clearly speak, read and write in English.
Must maintain good personal grooming habits and carry oneself in a professional business manner.
Maintain the passion necessary to execute world‑class service to every guest.
Licenses & Certifications

At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, a gaming license may be required.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

Primary work environment is in a live entertainment setting within a resort and casino, including both indoor and outdoor environments.
Work requires travel to attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences, and may include evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
Strength sufficient to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Standing most of the time with occasional sitting. The job requires constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Physical activities include balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Hearing and speech sufficient for conversational levels, videoconference, and telephone communication.
Visual acuity that meets the requirements of the position, including close visual acuity for data preparation, analysis, and computer terminal use.
Mobility sufficient to move in an office environment and to operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
