Live Sports Creative Strategist – Amazon – Los Angeles, CA
Amazon advertising offers advertisers a rich array of media solutions inclusive of Live Sports. As Amazon's Live Sports portfolio continues to grow, we seek a Los Angeles based Sports Creative Strategist who will drive advertising revenue through the creation of marketing value surrounding Live Sports. The strategist partners with Ad Sales, Production, Programming, Consumer Marketing, and Video Ads Product teams to ideate and develop global marketing and sponsorship packages for properties such as the NBA, Thursday Night Football, NASCAR, NWSL, and WNBA.
Responsibilities

Develop sponsorship programs (pre‑game, post‑game) and integrate branded content within Live Sports events.
Identify new inventory and innovation opportunities, scaling programs across Amazon and across global regions.
Collaborate with the Live Sports Sales team to gather client insights, craft proposals that meet client needs, and maximize revenue.
Align internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with the Prime Video brand voice and mutual benefit of partnerships.
Coordinate with product owners across Amazon lines (Twitch, Fire TV, Amazon Music, etc.) to innovate on behalf of clients and drive Ads revenue beyond Live Sports.
Execute deal points and program elements, working with Production for assets, with Consumer Marketing for social media and event activations, and managing standalone branded content efforts.
Oversee production, quality control, and delivery of branded content within approved budget and timeline.
Qualifications

7+ years of experience in sports management, integrated marketing, or Live Sports partnership roles.
Proven track record of working cross‑functionally with live sports production and creative teams.
Deep knowledge of live sports sponsorship rights, media valuation, and the sports marketplace.
Strong relationship‑building and collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
Strong attention to detail, especially around budget, timeline, and package development.
Experience using data and metrics to drive program improvements.
Experience building, executing, and scaling cross‑functional marketing programs.
Ability to communicate results to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in the lowest geographic market to $186,500/year in the highest market, with potential equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits as part of a total compensation package.
