Apparel Designer (Athleisure)

Seeking an experienced Designer for a growing athleisure division of a fashion client located near City of Industry, CA. This role focuses on women’s active and athleisure design, from concept through product development, in a fully onsite environment.

This role focuses on women’s active and athleisure design, from concept through product development, in a fully onsite environment.

Responsibilities

Lead concept, design, and product development within the women’s active/athleisure category

Partner with sales on private label accounts and execute graphics for co-branded programs

Analyze sales trends and apply forecasting insights to support retail partner needs

Prepare color and style CADs each season while designing to target cost expectations

Communicate daily with factory partners on fabric and trim sourcing, development, tech packs, and approvals

Manage sample timelines and ensure readiness for key appointment deadlines

Review prototypes and participate in fit sessions alongside the technical design team

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of design experience in women’s active/athleisure

Required Skills

Strong team player with excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint

Note: Temp to Hire preferred, open to Fulltime for right candidate.
