Overview

Account Manager is responsible for contacting all customers whose Rental Agreements have expired and working with them to maintain the account. This position involves extensive telephone activity and is more a sales than a collections role. The Account Manager’s priority is to re-sell the Rental Agreement and educate the customer rather than simply collecting money. This role offers strong pay and benefits and values prior experience in sales, rental, account management, or collections.
Responsibilities

Contact all customers whose Rental Agreements have expired for non-renewal and determine the customer’s needs, expectations, or problems. This is most often done by phone but may require visiting the customer’s residence to discuss their account or arrange merchandise pickup or redelivery per company policy.
Demonstrate diligence, urgency, impartiality, and consistency in accounts management.
Contact references on all accounts that do not return calls.
Mail letters according to the company mail program.
Recognize and create opportunities to renew customer agreements.
Schedule voluntary turn-ins of merchandise when bringing a Rental Agreement current is unlikely.
Handle field collections and de-installations as needed.
Requirements

Valid State Driver License with a clean driving history.
We conduct a drug screen and background check.
Prior experience as sales agent, rental agent, account executive, account manager, account collection, rent-to-own, or automotive sales is beneficial to success in this role.
