Medical Writing Associate Director

To support a growing team, the contract Associate Director, Medical Writing will provide expert writing and editing support for high-quality scientific documents, manage data interpretation for publications, and engage with internal and external stakeholders remotely.
Key responsibilities

Provide writing and editing support for documents intended for medical/scientific publication and presentations
Manage and review data and source documents for publication needs
Oversee outsourced medical writers and manage project timelines through the publication review system

Required qualifications

A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience
Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
Knowledge in therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology is preferred
