We are looking for a strong leader/manager with journalism skills. The perfect fit would be someone who has managed radio news-writers/editors and anchors. Position is responsible for copy reviews and anchor air‑checks. Will also run a very busy news‑desk and hand out assignments nationwide. Employee must work in the newsroom; it is not a remote job.

What You'll Do

Write/edit and produce news text and audio.

Manage regional & national news desk.

Assignments, planning & content management.

Work with news centers across the county to cover breaking news for local, regional and national coverage.

Perform copy reviews with writers.

Perform air‑check reviews with anchors.

General newsroom responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Extensive news radio experience.

Leadership and management skills.

Proven track record of solid news work.

Strong journalism skills.

Highly experienced news writing background.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced but flexible environment.
