About the role
Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs. The US ITP Marketing Lead will build on the early launch success of Wayrilz in ITP, driving commercial strategy and execution and shaping the long‑term disease strategy.
Main Responsibilities
Embed Sanofi’s values of Aim higher, Act for Patients, Be Bold, and Lead Together by championing talent and driving team performance.
Lead a high‑performing marketing team focused on HCP and patient engagement for ITP.
Design and execute a best‑in‑class approach to the crowded ITP market, differentiating Wayrilz and ensuring proactive patient access and retention.
Build productive relationships with KOLs, patient organisations, and payers, identifying customer needs and solutions.
Leverage advanced analytics, market research, and AI‑enabled tools to inform strategic decisions and optimise commercial performance.
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive ITP brand plans, translating market insights into clear “where to play” and “how to win” strategies.
Oversee commercial planning, short‑term revenue and operational expense forecasts, and deliver budget and strategic plan presentations.
Monitor business results against objectives, initiate corrective actions, and make forward‑thinking investment decisions.
Qualifications
MBA or science‑related degree.
8+ years of commercial marketing leadership experience in medicines, having succeeded in complex, matrixed environments.
Proven record of developing and coaching high‑performance teams that exceed expectations.
Experience in competitive markets such as hematology, oncology or immunology; other large markets also welcomed.
Strong business acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, analytics and commercial planning.
Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic storytelling skills.
Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional teams across Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Sales.
Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools, advanced analytics, and large‑scale media promotional strategies within a regulated health‑care environment is desired.
