Program Manager Health

Location: Washington DC

Pay: From $30 per hour

Qualifications

3+ years of Project Management experience within the healthcare or public health arena

Experience working with online education delivery and a Learning Management System (LMS)

Experience collecting data and creating analytic reports and Excel spreadsheets

Experience utilizing Instructional System Design tools such as Camtasia or Articulate 360

Overseeing staff, managing timelines and budgets

Experience working with vendors

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

Demonstrated attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and output

Experience working in a deadline‑driven environment

Experience leading teams

Bachelor's Degree within the healthcare or public health field

Responsibilities

Manage the operations of a healthcare‑related care program

Oversee instructor‑led educational workshops and online education delivery

Work with a Learning Management System

Manage, implement and coordinate projects, staff, budgets and timelines

Respond to inquiries and oversee the relationship with the Continuing Medical Education fulfillment site

Manage data submissions through a custom portal and provide support for this portal

Troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Create analytic reports and spreadsheets from collected data

Maintain timelines and project budgets

Work with outside vendors

Maintain project documentation and coordinate staff on projects

Serve as program manager

Edit content

Develop strategies to identify issues and ensure successful program delivery

Work with vendors and instructors

Serve as liaison with vendors and instructors for projects

Support marketing efforts of projects

Implement and evaluate customer service policies and processes for managed programs

Serve as project manager for education projects

Oversee document delivery, including preparing files for narrators, copyeditors and reviewing work for quality and accuracy

Mentor staff

Translate clinical expertise to non‑clinical staff
