Manager, Brand Marketing
The Manager, Brand Marketing role will be responsible for driving the global growth of a diverse portfolio of products through breakthrough innovation. In this role, you will develop category innovation pipeline, from concept development to execution and will lead cross-functional teams through the commercialization process. The Manager, Brand Marketing will help to drive consistency in voice, tone and message across all channels (i.e., Packaging, Advertising, PR, Social/Content Marketing and Web Properties, collateral, trade etc.). This person will contribute effectively to the development of brand strategy, help shape the marketing plan development, and ensure excellence of execution in market to deliver upon category goals.
Responsibilities
Market & Consumer Expertise:
Develop deep understanding of pricing, positioning, competitive dynamics, and evolving consumer needs within the cordless cleaning market.
Global Collaboration:
Partner with global teams to articulate product value and create marketing assets that enable worldwide product success.
Messaging Validation:
Drive a consumer-first mentality. Partner with Consumer Insights to test and validate messaging, storytelling, and creative assets, leveraging learnings to deliver best-in-class brand communication.
Strategic Positioning & Portfolio Development:
Develop category and brand positioning strategies, portfolio architecture, product concepts, breakthrough claims, and pricing strategies to strengthen marketability and maximize sales performance.
Asset Development:
Develop consumer-relevant messaging and assets that clearly communicate product and brand benefits through close partnership with Consumer Insights across global markets. Specifically, message development and execution for packaging, digital, in-store, collateral and support for infomercial/advertising and digital efforts.
Creative Process Management:
Manage creative development workflows, including timelines, approvals, and adherence to established processes and protocols.
Performance Evaluation:
Analyze campaign and brand activity performance to uncover insights, optimize future initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Consumer Experience Optimization:
Support the development and implementation of best practices and processes across all consumer touchpoints to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
Product Value Communication:
Translate product benefits into clear sales narratives and develop tools that enhance sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Product Development, IMC, Creative Services, and Sales teams to develop and execute global go-to-market strategies.
Retail & Merchandising Collaboration:
Partner with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to develop compelling sell-in stories and impactful in-store merchandising strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop the Associate Brand Manager to support team growth and excellence.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS
5+ years of Marketing experience, preferably with direct responsibility for Product Marketing, messaging, positioning, and innovation planning and execution
3-5 years of prior experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods
Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products
Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent, MBA preferred
