Senior Producer - CNN International

We are seeking a Senior Producer to lead the editorial vision and execution of live and pre-produced overnight weekend programming for CNN International.
Accountabilities

Partner with the Supervising Producer and anchors to plan, develop, and execute weekend and weekday overnight programming.
Lead the creation of dynamic rundowns with strong editorial judgment, distinctive angles, and audience relevance.
Collaborate closely with anchors on interviews, scripts, and key editorial moments.
Guide and support the production team, prioritizing coverage and elevating storytelling.
Maintain rigorous quality control across all broadcast elements, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and editorial integrity.
Lead in the control room during live broadcasts, including high-pressure breaking news situations.
Contribute to forward planning and editorial strategy by identifying upcoming stories and securing relevant guests/experts.
Step in for the Supervising Producer as needed, ensuring continuity of leadership and execution.
Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of experience producing live news programming.
Strong knowledge of international news, current events, and business news.
Demonstrated control-room expertise with daily line-producing experience.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams in fast-paced environments.
Excellent editorial judgment, with a clear understanding of news value and story development.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly during breaking news.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
