Account Executive – Holding Company Sales
TelevisaUnivision’s National Sales Office seeks a dynamic Account Executive to join the Holding Company Sales team in New York, NY. The role focuses on developing and managing key accounts, driving cross‑platform sales, and expanding new client relationships.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and service new and existing key accounts to increase revenue.
Prospect new business through self‑generated leads, existing contacts, cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods.
Identify monetization opportunities for clients and ensure superior customer service across Linear, Experiential, Digital, Branded Content, and Social Advertising.
Manage business plans, pipelines, reports, and revenue projections, meeting deadlines set by management.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, including closing medium to large deals ($500K and above).
Account for all aspects of campaign implementation: client orders, commercial traffic instructions, promotions, proof of performance, recaps, invoices, collections, and compliance with company guidelines.
Maintain detailed, organized account records and coordinate with support staff and other departments for smooth execution.
Participate in client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events nationwide as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (or High School Diploma / GED with at least 9 years of comparable experience).
Minimum 5+ years of media sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving year‑over‑year growth.
Experience closing medium to large size deals ($500K and above) and a demonstrated history of closing new business.
Proven multi‑platform sales experience (Streaming/OTT, Digital, Video, Audio, Social, Branded Content, Email, Programmatic).
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to translate ideas into clear, high‑impact communications with clients.
Established network of agencies, clients, and brand managers.
Working knowledge of Winmo, MediaRadar, Vivvix, Matrix, Strata, Wide Orbit Drive, and related tools.
Fluency in Spanish (reading and writing) is a plus.
Ability to work five days a week from the office in New York, NY, with time flexibility for extended hours, travel, and after‑hours client events.
Willingness to travel nationwide for client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work full‑time in the United States.

Base salary: $100,000 – $135,000 plus bonus and benefits.
