Regional Sales Representative

Responsible for providing sales coverage and developing best possible market penetration for all products to present and prospective customers in his/her assigned territory in accordance with the company's policies and programs. Responsible for Customers within a regional territory of Chicago Metro (Tri-Sate). Will be responsible for distribution business for all Roppe products and programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Full-fill sales quotas and forecasting in their region.
Manage account responsibility distribution
Manage the National Group and Key Accounts.
Generate sales and specifications within the Architectural, Design, and End use channels.
Administer Project and Product specification support with Commercial Flooring Specialist.
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Business/Sales or related field preferred.
3 years of fulltime commercial selling experience preferred.
Ability to travel extensively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Detailed oriented, good with basic math and able to work in team environment required.
Experience in computer applications.
Ability to work without supervision and to make appropriate decisions.
Ability to process work with accuracy and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work in a stationary position in usually an office environment. Physical activity includes sitting, walking on plant floor, talking, hearing, handling, reaching, and feeling.
Ability to work with office equipment including but not limited to computers, printers, copiers, calculators, and telephones.
Must dress professionally and appropriately
