As a vital member of S & P Dow Jones Indices’ multi‑asset marketing team, this position is responsible for spearheading product marketing initiatives that enhance awareness, adoption and engagement of S & P DJI’s multi‑asset offerings. The role focuses on developing compelling index solution narratives and content strategies that resonate with target audiences in the evolving insurance, bank and asset‑management landscape.

As part of the broader commercial organization, Marketing aligns product marketing activities—product launches, content creation, go‑to‑market strategies and client education—with specific commercial outcomes. This role is crucial in positioning S & P DJI as a leader in the insurance and structured products space, leveraging essential data, research and insights.

The individual will collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing and other commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution of product marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy and Development: Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy showcasing S & P DJI’s multi‑asset solutions. Create high‑quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, brochures, video scripts, webinars and educational materials that effectively communicate index features, benefits and market insights.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine positioning and messaging for S & P DJI’s multi‑asset index solutions. Craft compelling narratives that highlight unique value propositions and benefits to various audiences, especially Insurance.
  • Go‑to‑Market Strategy: Lead development and execution of go‑to‑market strategies for new index launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful rollout and market penetration of multi‑asset benchmark offerings and downstream products built on S & P DJI indices.
  • Compliance and Legal Partnership: Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all product marketing content, client‑facing materials and messaging are reviewed as needed and fully aligned with company guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring S & P DJI’s offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • Account‑Based Marketing: Engage with key partners and clients to promote awareness and adoption of S & P DJI’s multi‑asset solutions. Develop tailored marketing strategies to nurture relationships and drive downstream product usage.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content marketing and product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders to inform decision‑making and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in content/product marketing within financial services, with a strong focus on multi‑asset strategies, Insurance, Investment Banks preferred.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio of successful campaigns and materials that demonstrate effective messaging and audience engagement.
  • In‑depth understanding of multi‑asset investment strategies and the product development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in Insurance preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly, succinctly and persuasively.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product launches, go‑to‑market strategies and account‑based marketing in the insurance, asset‑management or financial services space.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing and email campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Compliance, Legal and external partners.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

Anticipated base salary range: $110,000 – $135,000, based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. Eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S & P Global benefits.
