Summary
The Director, Field Marketing localizes national programming for Champagne & Sparkling brands across the Los Angeles / Orange County market, serving as the area expert and liaison between Commercial Sales and Brand Teams. This role drives local brand activations, business development, and executional excellence to grow sales and brand equity. The position manages A&P budgets, analyzes ROI, and collaborates cross-functionally to align brand strategy with market and distributor needs.
Responsibilities
- Localize and adapt brand programming to market, account, and distributor needs and execute high-impact local activations.
- Manage brand programming activities, evaluate ROI, and prepare local activity recaps and recommendations.
- Lead A&P budget planning for assigned brands, identify gaps and opportunities, and make alignment recommendations.
- Serve as liaison between Brand Teams and Sales Teams to drive sales goals while protecting brand integrity.
- Analyze depletion and sell-through data, identify new account opportunities, and support distributor planning and forecasting.
- Manage local POSM, VAP and rarities allocation process, and coordinate winemaker/Maison visits and distributor engagement.
- Prospect and build relationships with key customers, local influencers, and community partners to grow on- and off-premise business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or MBA or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of trade marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, CPG, or retail.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills with experience in budget management and ROI analysis.
- Experience working with luxury goods, events, brand guidelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and build effective partnerships with distributors and sales teams.
